Usingthe suppliedsoftware
This section describes Ihe process using a
Windows computer as an example.
The supplied CD-ROM conlains two
soltware applicalions: "PicmrePackage"
and "hnageMixer."
PicturePackage
What you can do:
O Burning Video CD
The "hnageMixer VCD2" screen appears.
1_ Music Video/Slideshow Producer
Save the images on CD-R
Vie_ing video and pictures on PC
How to start up the functions:
Click one of !_-{_, then click the button at
the lower right of the screen.
You can install the "PicturePackage" attd
"ImageMixer VCD2" software using the
following procedure.
• If you have not yel installed the USB driver
(page 56), do not connect the camera 1o lhe
compuler belore you inslall the
"PicturePackage" software (excepl lor Windows
XP).
• In Windows 2000/XP, log on as Administrator.
• When "PiclurePackage" is inslalled, the USB
driver is installed automalically.

Turn on your computer, and insert
the CD-ROM (supplied) into the
CD-ROM drive.
The inst:dlation mere( screen appears.
• If it does not appear, double-click _ (My
Compuler) _ @ (PICTUREPACKAGE/

Click [PicturePackage].
The "Choose Setup Language" screen
appears.

Select the desired language, then
click [Next] twice.
This section descrihes the English
screen.
The "License Agreement" screen
appears.
Read the agremnmtt carel_llly. If you
accept the terms of the agreement, click
the radio button next to [1 accept the
terms of the license agreement] and then
click [Next].

Follow the instructions on the
screen to complete the
installation.
• "hnageMixer VCD2" and ' DirectX" will be
inslalled if you have not yet inslalled them.
• When the reslarting confirmation message
appears, restall the computer lbllowing lhe
inslruclions on the screen.
