Typesof "Memory Stick" that can be
used
The IC recoMiug medium used hy this
camera isa "MmnoryStick Duo". There are
two types of "Memory Stick".
• "MenloJ T Stick Duo": you can use a "Memory
Stick Duo" witb your camera.
• "MenloJ T Stick"

When usinga "Memory Stick Duo"
with "Memory Stick" compatible
equipment
You can use the "Memor? Stick Duo" by
inserting it into the Memory Stick Duo
Adaptor (supplied).

pack
• Charge tile supplied NP-FE 1 baue13' p ack before
using tile camera Ior the Iirsl tinle. 1_ _rep 1 in

• The battery pack can be charged even if it is not
completely discharged. Also, even if file bauel T
pack is not fldly charged, you can use tile
partially charged capacily of lhe barrel T pack as
is.
• If you do not imend to use the battery pack for a
long lime, use tip file existing charge and
rcmo'_'e it Irolll yollr camera, tben store it in a
cool, dlT place. This is to maintain the bauery
pack functions (page 92).

This camera is equipped ¥_ith a Carl Zeiss
lens which is capable of reproducing sharp
images with excellent contrast.
The lens for this camera has been produced
under a quality assurance system certified
by Carl Zeiss in accordance with the quality
standards of Carl Zeiss in Germany.

• This camera is neifller dust-prooI, nor splash-
proof, nor watcr-prool. Read "Precautions"
(page 94) before operating the camera.

working concctly.
• Be carelul not to get tile camera wet. _'ater
entering the inside of tile camera may cause
