5.5 Transport notes for ACL devices

Ensure gentle handling during transport and loading. Ensure also that the transport conditions as

described in the units manual, section 3.2 and on the packaging label are met.

5.6 Environmentally correct disposal

This section applies for returning old electrical and electronic equipment in the countries of the
European Union.
Users of electrical and electronic equipment are obliged to collect old equipment separately. Old
electrical or electronic equipment may not be disposed together with the unsorted domestic
waste, which is indicated by the symbol below. Separate collection is the prerequisite for re-use,
recycling and using old electrical or electronic equipment to drive down resource utilization.
The old units can be returned to the manufacturer for disposal. For this purpose, contact the
manufacturer's address given in section 6. In case you decide not to return the old units to the
manufacturer, you are responsible for their proper disposal.
In this regard, contact an appropriately authorized disposal company.
Returned units might be rejected if they pose a threat to human health and safety due to contami-
nation.
The units' packaging material can be returned for disposal as well.
You, the final user, are responsible for deleting personal data on the units before disposal.
Return of batteries:
Batteries must not be disposed with domestic waste in accordance with the EU directive.
The type and chemical system are marked on the battery.
