Attaching a Chip
Place the chip in the correct position and temporarily solder one
terminal to the copper surface.

Removing a Chip
Holding the chip with a pair of tweezers, remove it gently from the
board while the solder at each terminal is molten.
Wick off all excess solder from the board, so that it is ready for new
components.
