  • Page 3 Check for missing items. In addition to your WinBook unit, you should receive an N3 User’s manual, Helpful Windows XP user’s manual, AC adapter, a power cord and a WinBook Restore CD. If any of these items Tips are missing, contact Customer Service immediately.

    Can I use the DVD drive to play DVD movies? If you have an optional DVD Drive then yes, you can play DVD Movies on your WinBook N3 notebook. This is one of the main features of DVD drives. You can play them on your laptop screen or on your TV through the S-Video connection.
  • Page 6 What kind of sound card is in my WinBook N3 notebook? The sound card is integrated into the circuitry of your WinBook. It has the Cirrus Logic 4299 chipset which is Sound Blaster Pro compatible. It has integrated 3D audio effects, 32-voice polyphony, and MIDI (128 melody and 47 percussion) capability.

Note: Due to the highly customizable nature of network configurations, WinBook Technical Support does not support networking. Please consult your system administrator for networking support.
  • Page 8 Please note that the battery in the WinBook N3 notebook takes about 3 hours to fully charge with the machine turned OFF. If the system is ON, the time needed to charge to full capacity is about 4 hours.
