Aperture
Fhe camcorder adjusts the aperlure automaticallydepending on the subject and recording conditions. You
can also manuallyadjust the Ape_lureto your preference.

1. Press the MENU button _ Control joystick ('q/_) _ "Aperture".
2. Select the desired submenu item with the Control joystick (A/T),
and then press the OK button.
3. Press the MENU button to exit the menu.
"Auto"
Sets the aperture value automatically.
"Manual"
Sets the aperture value manually,

1. Select "Manual."
2. Adjust the aperture value with the Control joystick('q/_).
•
Confirm your selection by pressing the OK button.
•
Exposure value can be set between "F1.8" and "F22."
•
If you set aperture to manual, the higher the aperture, the
darker the recorded picture will be.

Aperture
The aperture stop of a photographic
lens can be adjusted to control
the amount of light reaching the film or image sensor.
The aperture value needs to be adjusted in the following cases:
•
When shooting against the light or when the background
is
too bright.
•
When shooting on a reflective natural background such as at the beach or when skiing.
•
When the background is overly dark (for example, night scenery).
