Advice on how to save energy
The refrigerator should be placed in the coolest part of the room, away from
heat-producing appliances and out of direct sunlight.
Overloading the refrigerator forces the thermoelectric cooling system to run
longer.
Open the door as infrequently as possible and avoid lengthy searches. Only
take out as many items as you need at a time and close the door as quickly as
possible.
A distinctive feature of this type of device is the time it takes to recover from
frequent opening and closing of the door. If the door is opened and closed
frequently, it may take longer for the temperature to return to previous levels.
