AUTO OFF LAMP
When the lamp flashes at regular intervals
The lamp will flash if an abnormality occurs while the tape is
traveling (if the tape becomes slack, for example).
If the lamp continues to flash when the Power Switch is turned
"OFF" and then "ON" again, turn "OFF" the Power Switch
again and call the serviceman.
When the Auto OFF Lamp flashes, the tape counter display will
change to an error display. In this case, consult with the shop
where you purchased your unit.

When the lamp flashes at irregular intervals
This is a stopping due to trouble of the fan motor.
Consult your dealer.

Compatibility with conventional recording system
The conventional (normal) recording mode is provided, and
the tape recorded by the normal mode can be played back by
the conventional
video deck. Also, a tape recorded
by a
conventional deck can be reproduced by this unit.

cassette tape which has the SS/VHS) and the [VHS] mark.
When lamp lights
The lamp will light if condensation occurs inside the unit. At
this time, the unit will cease to function entirely. In this case,
wait until the lamp goes out before attempting to operate the
unit.

Dew is formed under the same principle that condensation will
form on window panes in a heated room, and it may be evident
in the following circumstances:
When the unit is used in a room in which a stove has just been
turned on in winter.
When the unit is brought into a very humid or steamy room.
When
the unit is abruptly moved from a cold place into a
warm room.
