Attaching the delivery hose
• To get the best performance from the pump, it is recommended that
the diameter of the delivery hose is at least 1. (The longer the
discharge pipe, the larger the diameter). *
• During the self-priming phase, all taps, valves, etc. on the delivery
hose must be fully open in order to allow the air inside the hose to
escape.
The start of the pump
Before starting the pump, the pump housing and suction pipe
must be full of clear and clean water. There are 2 possibilities:
1. The pump is higher than the water level.
Fill the pump housing and suction line with clear and clean water.
Filling must be done slowly and the pump housing must be
completely filled. (let the water overflow at the filling opening); wiggle
the suction line a little, wait a few seconds and refill to the top of the
filler opening.
2. The pump is lower than the water level.
In this case, the air must be able to escape so that the water
automatically enters the pump. Close the shut-off valve in the suction
line, loosen the filler cap on top of the pump housing so that the air
can escape. Turn the shut-off valve in the suction pipe carefully and
slowly open a little until you notice the pump housing fills with water.
As soon as water runs out of the pump housing you can close the filler
cap. Now turn the valve in the suction line completely open!
When the pump housing is filled with water, insert the plug into the
wall socket. Start the pump and wait for water to come out. If no
water comes out 2-3 minutes after starting the pump, turn the pump
off and refill the pump as described above.
