    2. Switch the MS840P on. Insert a dongle into a USB port of the computer or laptop PC. 4. Scan the MAC address on the label by using the MS840P scanner. 5. When being successfully connected to the dongle, the scanner will beep shortly once with a high tone.

    MS840P User’s Manual 1.5 LED Indicator / Beeper Sequence 1.5.1 LED Indicator The LED lights on the MS840P scanner turn on to indicate the status of the battery, a successful read of a barcode, or the status of the wireless connection.
