You only have to install your system once.
Please make the following connections (whenever applicable).
Note: Switch off the amplifier before making any connections.

CD - input sockets for connecting a CD player

PHONO - input sockets for connecting a record player

PHONO SELECTOR MM/MC - selecting a record player
with an MM (Moving Magnet) or an MC (Moving coil)
cartridge

PHONO GND = — for connecting the earth wire of a record
player
DCC — input and output sockets for connecting a Digital
Compact Cassette recorder
TUNER - input sockets for connecting a tuner
TV/LD - input sockets for connecting the sound channel of
a TV set or a Laser Disc player
H
PROCESSOR ~ for connecting a sound processor, e.g. a
graphic equalizer

Connect the PROCESSOR input sockets to the output
sockets of the sound processor and the PROCESSOR out-
put sockets to the input sockets of the sound processor.

Set BASS and TREBLE control to the centre click position
(0) or press the DIRECT button to bypass the tone controls.

If the PROCESSOR sockets are not used, always insert
the bridge connectors.

TAPE/CDR - input and output sockets for connecting 4
cassette deck or a CD recorder.

AUX/VCR/DBS - input sockets for connecting the sound
channel of e.g. a video recorder or satellite tuner and
output sockets for extra sound recording equipment e.g. a
cassette or tape deck or a HiFi stereo video recorder
Remove the bridge connectors from the PROCESSOR sockets.

DSP — input and output sockets for connecting
a DSP
(Digital Signal Processor).
L
DCC - input and output sockets for connecting a Digital
Compact Cassette recorder or another digital recording
device.

CD/AUX/DBS/TV/LD - input sockets for connecting the
digital output of e.g. a CD player, a Laser Disc player ora
digital satellite tuner (DBS) using a coaxial cable
N
COAX/OPT. - selecting the coaxial or the optical input
when a CD player has been connected.
O
CD OPT. INPUT - input socket for connecting a CD player
using an optical cable.
