Disc rotates but there is no
picture.
@ The TV set is not turned on.
e@Wrong connections from player to TV.
@ TV set is not turned to channel 3 or 4.

@ The television is not properly tuned.
e@ TV indicator is lit.
REMEDY
eTurnon TV.
e@ Make correct connections.
@ Set TV to the channel' (3 or 4) that is not used
for TV broadcasting in your area.
@ Set selector to same channel as the TV's empty
channel.
@ Tune the television properly.
(Refer to the User's Manual for the television.)
@ Press the TV/LDP button on the front of
player so that the TV indicator turns off,

Picture continuously moves
vertically.

Particular disc does not play
back properly.
The playback stops in the
middle of the disc program.

distorted.
e@ The TV vertical hold control is not adjusted
properly.
@ The playing surface of the disc is dirty.
@ The disc is warped.
e Adjust vertical-hold contro! on TV.
e Use a soft cloth and lightly wipe off the dirt from
the surface of the disc.
If necessary, moisten a
cloth with diluted neutral detergent to remove
heavy dirt or fingerprints.
e Put the disc into the protective envelope, then
place it on a flat desk top. Subsequently, place
a flat board on the disc, and load it with weights
of about 4 ~ 5 kgs (about 10 Ibs).
If it is left in this state for one day, sometimes
the warp will be alleviated.
