Listening To A Preset Station - Sony MHC-GNX100 Operating Instructions Manual

You can listen to a radio station either by
selecting a preset station, or by manually tuning
in the station
Listening to a preset station
-- Preset Tuning
Before tuning to preset stations, be snre to preset
them (see "Presetting radio stations" on
page 19)
1 Press TUNER/BAND repeatedly to
select "FM" or "AM".
2 Press TUNING MODE on the remote
repeatedly until "PRESET" lights up in
the display.
3 Turn TUNING +/- clockwise or
counterclockwise (or press -I_1_1 or
I_1+ on the remote repeatedly) to
select the preset station you want.

Press TUNER/BAND repeatedly to
select "FM" or "AM".
Press TUNING MODE on the remote
repeatedly until "MANUAL" lights up in
the display.
3 Turn TUNING +/- clockwise or
counterclockwise (or press -I,9141 or
I_1+ on the remote repeatedly) to tune
in the station you want.
Tips
• When an FM stereo program has static noise press
FM MODE on the 1emote repeatedly mltil "MONO"
lights up in the display There will be no steieo effect,
but the reception will improve
• To record the iadio programs, see "Recolding on a
tape manually" (page 25) or "Timer recording radio
programs" qJage 35)
• You can also press FUNCTION on the remote
iepeatedly to select "TL_ER"
• To improve broadcast ieception, adjust the supplied
