Removals and Replacements
1 060 Diskette Drive
Removal
• Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
• Remove left cover (1
005).
• Remove front bezel (1
035).
• Use a small screwdriver to lift the spring tab under the center of
the drive
,
and simultaneously slide the drive forward approxi-
mately 50 mm (2
in.).
• Reach through the left side of the chassis to the rear of the
diskette drive
,
and disconnect the flat cable from the drive.
• Slide the drive from the cage
.
Replacement
• Slide the diskette drive into the top position of the cage.
• Connect the flat cable to the rear of the
drive.
• Make sure that the drive is secured in the cage by the spring tab
located under the center of the drive.
• lnstall front bezel (1 035).
• lnstall left cover (1 005).
