Digital Electronic Image Stabilization (E.LS.)
Helps stabilize picture when recording in Before you begin...
unstable situations. e Connect Camcorder to power source.
e Set POWER to CAMERA.
1 Press ElS to display "ElS" in the EVF or
LCD monitor.
e Image becomes slightly enlarged and
shutter speed auto-adjusts from 1/80 to
1/350 according to brightness.
e Use High Speed Shutter (page 26) if
needed. Shutter speed setting remains
after ElS is canceled.
2 Press ElS again to cancel when not in
use.
E.I.S. may not function during...
e extreme Camcorder movement.
e recording of subjects with distinct horizontal
or vertical stripes.
e low light situations (EIS indicator flashes).
e intense fluorescent lighting situations.
e recording of very fast motion.
