This chapter will help you to define and plan a route. You will be able to select a destination, set your origin, or plan a journey. The route calculated in real time is from your current GPS position. There are several ways to configure your destination using the Menu button ( ).

Voxtrack 800 Navigation Software User Guide Menu Button The Menu Button opens the Destination Menu. Pressing the buttons at the bottom of the screen allows you to cycle between the Destination Menu, the Options Menu and the Settings Menu as seen in Figure 2.

POIs are identified on the map by various icons (eg: POI navigation is especially handy when you need to find a facility, attraction or amenity by category or type.

This process is similar to the procedures used to enter or select a destination and initiate navigation, except that you must be in Planner Mode.
