Symptom
The appliance
does not work.
Food is not
cooked.
Food is not fried
evenly.
Smoke coming
from appliance

Possible Cause
The appliance is not plugged in.
The appliance is plugged into an
outlet that is shared with other
devices.
The appliance might have been
turned off. If the Stop Button is
pressed while cooking, the cooking
process will be stopped.
Too much food is cooking at once.
The temperature is set too low.
Food is in the wrong oven.
Some types of food cook more
evenly when turned over halfway
through the cooking process.
Too much oil is being used.
The accessories or appliance
have residue from the
previous operation.
Liquid is dripping onto the
heating elements.
Solution
Plug the power cord into an outlet.
Plug the appliance into a dedicated
electrical outlet.
Press the Start Button with the
appropriate oven selected to resume
cooking.
Use smaller batches for more even
cooking.
Raise the cooking temperature and
continue cooking.
When cooking in only one oven, use
the Upper Oven. Make sure you set the
cooking time and temperature for the
Upper Oven.
See "Shaking Food" in the "Instructions
for Use" section.
Wipe down to remove excess oil.
Clean appliance and accessories after
each use.
Use the Baking Pan when cooking food
that can drip onto the heating elements.
