OPERATION
BEFORE STARTING THE GENERATOR
Verify that:
l The generator is placed in a safe, appropriate location.
l The generator is on a dry, flat, and level surface.
l Oil and fuel levels are within safe operating range.
l All loads are disconnected from the control panel recep-
tacles.
l The ECO mode switch is in the OFF position.
DANGER
NOT move or tip the generator during operation.
REMOTE START
See Figure 16.
The remote start key fob included with the generator is
stored in the remote storage compartment. If your unit was
shipped without a key fob, contact Westinghouse customer
service.
The generator can be started remotely from up to 99 feet
(30 meter) using the remote start key fob.
NOTE: As the batteries in the remote start key fob drain,
operational distance will decrease.
Pairing the remote start:
If the remote start key fob is replaced or needs to be paired
to the generator, follow this procedure:
l Turn the generator battery switch to the ON position. The
power indicator light will illuminate.
l Push and hold the electric start switch on the control
panel for 10 seconds. The button illuminates and starts
flashing.
l Push and hold the ON button on the key fob. It should
automatically pair with the generator and the electric start
switch will stop flashing.
l Turn the generator battery switch to the OFF position.
The remote is now paired.

l Place the generator in a safe, appropriate location.
l Unplug all loads.
l Be sure the ECO mode switch is in the OFF position.
l Check oil and fuel levels. If needed, add fuel or oil as
described earlier.
l Turn the fuel selector switch on the control panel to gas-
oline operation. (See Figure 14).
