Segments 3 and 4: Secondary Address
You can select the secondary address by setting segments 3 and 4 of SWl.
However, normally you should use the default value:

Segment 5: Not Used
Segment 5 of SWI is not used. Its setting has no effect.
Segment 6: System Controller Status
Segment 6 of SWI determines whether the measurement coprocessor is the
system controller on the HP-IB. In the default ("closed") position, segment 6
specifies that the measurement coprocessor is the system controller. If you set
segment 6 to the "open" position, it will be non-system controller.
