Readjusting the Clamping Lever (see figure E)
When the router (1) is no longer secure in the router plunge
base, the tensioning force of the clamping lever (13) must
be readjusted.
– Open the clamping lever.
– Turn the nut approx. 45° clockwise with an open-ended
spanner (8 mm).
– Close the clamping lever again.
– Check that the router is clamped securely. Do not over-
tighten the nut.
Attaching the Parallel Guide (see figure F)
Insert the guide holder (16) into the side guides on the
router plunge base (2) and secure it with the two wing
bolts (15).
Attach the parallel guide (19) to the guide holder (16) using
the wing bolt (23).
Attaching Guide Rail 2 609 255 732 (see figure G)
Insert the guide holder (16) into the side guides on the
router plunge base (2) and secure it with the two wing
bolts (15).
Place the guide holder (16) on the guide rail (20).
Attaching Guide Rail 1 600 Z00 005 (see figure H)
Insert the adapter for the guide rail (24) into the guide
holder (16) and secure it with the wing bolt (23).
Insert the installed guide holder (16) into the side guides on
the router plunge base (2) and secure it with the two wing
bolts (15).
Place the installed guide holder (16) on the guide rail (21).
Attaching the Centring Pin (see figure I)
You can use the centring pin (27) to rout circular areas.
Insert the guide holder (16) into the side guides on the
router plunge base (2) and secure it with the two wing
bolts (15).
Attach the parallel guide (19) without the movable slide
piece to the guide holder (16) using the wing bolt (23).
Insert the centring pin (27) through the parallel guide (19).
Set the required radius (between the tip of the centring pin
and the router bit). Fix the centring pin (27) in place using
the associated wing bolt.
Insert the centring pin (27) into a pre-drilled hole
(dia. 4 mm). Start routing.
Attaching the Guide Bushing (see figure J)
Using the guide bushing (28), you can transfer contours
from templates or patterns to the workpiece.
Select the guide bushing that is suitable for the thickness of
the template or pattern. Due to the protruding height of the
guide bushing, the template must have a minimum thickness
of 8 mm.
Insert the guide bushing (28) into the guide plate (7) in the
correct position.
Insert the hold-down device of the guide bushing (29) into
the dust extraction adapter (17). The hold-down device
clicks audibly into place.

Insert the adapter (17) together with the installed hold-
down device (29) into the router plunge base (2). Attach the
adapter (17) using the screw (18)(see "Connecting the Dust
Extraction System (see figure B)", page 10).
