8. Inspection / Transportation / Storage

Transporting the Vehicle

CAUTION: Towing the vehicle with the wheels on the ground or on a
suspended lift for a distance greater than 10 miles (16 kilometers) may cause
serious damage to the vehicle, and can generate high voltages in the vehicle's
electrical components.
The only methods approved by Fisker for recovering or transporting the vehicle are
as follows:
• Long-range: Flatbed trailer or transporter
The flatbed trailer or transporter must have an approved load rating greater than
the actual weight of your vehicle, including after-market accessories and cargo.

• Short-range: A wheel lift truck may be used by having the front axle suspended
and rear axle on wheeled dollies. 10-mile (16-kilometer) radius.
Note: If the vehicle does not have power or the wheels will not roll then 4 skates or
dollies must be used to load onto a flatbed w/ nylon straps.
Note: Damage caused by any other recovery method is not covered by the vehicle
warranty.
