Disconnecting the Charge Cable

1. Press the button on the charge cable connector to release the locking clip (no
locking clip if in EU).
2. Pull the connector from the charging port.
Emergency manual charging cable disconnect
CAUTION: Manually releasing the charging cable is only recommended in
instances where the charging cable button will not release it from the charge
port.
If pressing the button on the charging cable will not release it, the vehicle has a
manual disconnect.
Open the driver's door and pull the manual release cable located on the A-pillar,
and simultaneously pull the charging cable connector. Do not pull the manual
release cable too hard as it may break.
