- NOTE: This operation is necessary to prevent cross contamination of the two
refrigerants.
NOTE: in this manual, during the description of the procedure, for convenience we will
usually refer to a single refrigerant, the R134a. Unless otherwise specified, procedures
are the same for the refrigerant R1234yf.
The user can verify the all data of the machine:
o Check that the OIL containers aren't empty, if necessary operate the substitution
as described in MAINTENANCE section.
o Check that the oil level in the used oil container is < 200 cc, if necessary empty it
as described in MAINTENANCE section.
o Check on the machine display that there are at roughly 2 kg of refrigerant in the
tank. Should this not be the case, fill the on-board machine tank from an external
tank of appropriate refrigerant following the procedure described in the TANK
FILLING (MAINTENANCE)
Check that the vacuum pump oil level indicator (ref.1, Fig.13) shows at least one-half full. If
the level is lower, add oil as explained in the MAINTENANCE section.
