Flash Modes

The Flash Mode can only be set under Record Mode. There are 4 modes available: Auto, Red-
eye Reduction, Fill-in (On)and OFF. The default setting is AUTO. To change the setting, press
the Flash button a number of times until the desired one is selected.

Self-Timer

The self-timer can only be set under Record Mode
To use the Self-Timer function, perform the following:
1. Press the Self-Timer button
2. Position the camera, frame your shot, and press the Shutter button.
3. After 10 seconds, an image is captured and the timer will turn itself off.
The Self-Timer is designed to count down for 10 seconds. In the first 7 seconds, the indicator
blinks at a rate relatively slow and then blinks rapidly for the last 3 seconds.

Viewing Image Information

Image information can be viewed on the LCD monitor during image playback. Toggle the LCD
button
until information appears on the LCD monitor.
