To ensure this product is correctly installed and used appropriately, we highly advise you to
read this user guide very carefully.
1 . I N T R O D U C T I O N
X1+ UPS provide safe and reliable uninterrupted power to multimedia devices and tertiary
computer equipment (computers, cash registers, inkjet printers, displays). Its lightweight and
compact design is ideal for working environments where space is limited. X1+ range is Auto-
Regulated to provide balanced output power and offer complete protection for your connected
equipment in the event of power cuts or fluctuations. In the event of a power failure, X1+
provides power to the connected equipment up to 10 minutes (depending on the model and
on the connected load), thus allowing continuity of service or user intervention alerted by the
UPS alarm. The main features of the X1+ range are given below.

Save this manual properly and read the following instructions carefully before installing the
UPS. Do not operate this UPS before reading through all safety information and operating
instructions. Installation and wiring must be performed in accordance with the local electrical
laws and regulations. Installing and connecting UPS system in a way that does not comply
with accepted practices releases Infosec Communication from any liability.

Transportation
1. Please transport the UPS system only in the original package to protect against shock
and impact.

Preparation and correct disposal of the device:
1. Condensation may occur if the UPS system is moved directly from cold to warm
environment. The UPS system must be absolutely dry before being installed. Please
allow at least two hours for the UPS system to acclimate the environment.
2. Do not install the UPS system near water or in moist environments.
3. Do not install the UPS system where it would be exposed to direct sunlight or near
heater.
4. Do not block air vents in the housing of UPS. The UPS must be installed in a location
with good ventilation. Ensure enough space on each side for ventilation.
5. The mains outlet that supplies the UPS must be located near the UPS and be easily
accessible.
6. Install the UPS in a temperature and humidity-controlled room free of conductive
interference.
