RECOMMENDED STYLUS CLEANING: Use a camel's hair brush (No. 2 srze
or smaller), trimmed to approximately 6 mni (1/4 in.), dipped in alcohol or
an alcohol-distilled water solution. Commercial cleaning solutions may cause
stylus damage o r corrosion. Always brush stylus from back to front; never
brush o r wipe stylus from front to back or side t o side.
TO PRESERVE STYLUS LIFE:
1. Follow turntable o r tone arm instructions when adjusting antiskating
force.
2.
D o not handle the tone arm while i t is i n operation since this may
cause the arm t o sweep across the record.
3. I f i t is necessary to manually place the tone arm i n the record groove
while turntable is rotating, release i t as soon as the stylus engages the
record groove.
4. Correct improper set-down adjustment o r malfunction of the turntable
changrng mechanism to prevent the stylus irom strrklng the edge of the
turntable o r record. D o not stack more records than turntable manuiac-
turer recommends.
5. Take care to properly insert the stylus into the cartridge assembly and
the cartridge and shell assembly into the tone arm receptacle.
6. Use proper vertical tracking force setting for each cartridge.

D o not use badly warped, cracked or imperfect records.
8. When dusting the turntable protect the stylus with the stylus guard.

FOUR-CHANNEL:
This Stereo Dynetic@ cartridge is compatible with all
four-channel matrix systems.
MONOPHONIC OPERATION: Set i u n c t ~ o n swltch on ampl~frer to "MONO"
or "A+B."
If amplrfier is not equlpped with this swttch, connect left and
right channels In parallel.
CONNECTIONS (see Figure
1):
Right "hot"
lead (usually red) to "R,"

lead (usually whrte) to "L,"
left ground (usually blue) to "LC."
I f metal head is causing ground loop
hum, remove the ground tab. The metalllc cartr~dge shleld is
disconnected
from the right channel ground by the removal of the ground tab.
