therefore only be used for a maximum
of six months.
Important note
• If pain or increased irritation of the
skin occurs while you are wearing the
stocking, remove it immediately and
consult your doctor or the medical
specialists.
• Appropriate skincare must be
maintained during compression
therapy. This is essential. Creams or
ointments that are particularly
greasy and also soap residue can
cause skin irritation and material
wear and can thus impair the efficacy
of the compression stocking.
Therefore, medi also offers a skincare
range (medi day, medi night, medi
soft foam lotion) that is specially
formulated for compression
stockings. Please visit a medical
specialist retailer to discuss which
product is right for you.
• Sharp fingernails or toenails, faults in
your shoe's lining, jewellery or rough
or calloused heels may cause damage
to the knit fabric.
• The sewn-in fabric label is an
important component in ensuring
that the identification and
traceability of the product is
guaranteed. Please do not remove it
from the stocking by detaching it or
cutting it out.

Fitting instructions

• Put the compression stocking on
immediately after you get up. If you
have a shower in the morning and
then apply skin care products, then
you should wait a while until your
skin is completely dry. This will make
it far easier to put on the compression
stocking.
• Place your foot in the medi donning
aid included with this product. (Fig. 1)
• Reach into the medi Rehab one, take
the heel and turn it inside out.
• Now pull the stocking over the
donning aid and over your heel (Fig. 2)
• Grip the top layer of the stocking as
shown in Fig. 6 and pull it onto your
lower leg. (Fig. 3)
• Repeat the process step by step until
the stocking is fully on. The green
border should come to just under the
knee.
• To remove the donning aid, pull the
end of the stocking towards your heel
and back over the heel. Ensure that
you do not create any creases while
doing this. Creases could result in
painful constriction of your leg. (Fig.
4)
• The medi donning aid can now easily
be pulled out. (Fig. 5)
• Finally, pull the forefoot part of the
stocking back over the heel and foot.
Pull it so that it is evenly distributed
up to the root of the toes. Ensure that
the heel is sitting correctly. (Fig. 6)
• Check the entire stocking to ensure
that it is seated correctly.
Please note the following
The stocking must lie correctly and
should not be twisted (the ribbed
pattern provides orientation for this) or
stretched too long.
Care instructions
Wash your stocking every day after you
have worn it. Ideally, turn the stocking
inside out and wash it separately or
with items of clothing that are the
same colour. We recommend using a
laundry bag. Soap residue , creams or
ointments can lead to irritation of the
skin and deterioration of the material.
