Preparation
Wind up the tape a little from the beginning to skip
the leader tape.
1 Select the Dolby NR with the DOLBY
NR switch.
2 Press the II button.
The I indicator lights up.
3 Press the @ REC button.
The REC indicator lights up.
4 Adjustthe recording level with the REC
LEVEL control and recording balance
with the REC BALANCE control.

Press the Il button to begin recording.

Préparation
Bobiner la bande a partir du début de la cassette
pour sauter lamorce de la bande.
1 Sétectionner
le réducteur de bruit Dolby
avec le commutateur DOLBY NA.
2 Appuyer sur la touche Il.
Lindicateur II s'allume.
3 Appuyer sur la touche @ REC.

ing from an FM stereo tuner, press the MPX button
to display MPX. FM broadcasts contain a high-
frequency pilot signal which, while out of the au-
dible range of the music, can interfere with the
Dolby NR system.
All other music sources:should te recorded with
the MPX button in the THRU position. (When MPX
in the display goes aut, the MPX button is in the
THRU postion.)
To start recording during playback
Press the
and @ REC buttons simultaneously
during playback to begin recording.
ifthe «4 MS/REVIEW button is pressed during
recording
The recording mode is released and the tape is
rewound. When the button is released, the sound
just recorded can be heard (quick review function).

MPX-Filter-Taste
Wenn bei der Aufnahme mit einem UKW-Stereo-
Tuner Dolby B oder C verwendet wird, sollte die
MPX-Taste zur Anzeige vonMPX gedriickt werden.
UKW-Sendungen enthalten ein hochtrequentes
Pilotsignal, das auBerhalp des Hérbereichs von
Musik liegt, jadoch zusammen mit dem Dolby NR-
System zu Storungen fihren kann,
Alle andeten Musikquellen sollten mit der MPX-
Taste in derPosition THRUautgenommenwerden.
(Wenn MPX im Display erlascht, ist die MPX-Taste
aut die Position THRU eingestellt.)

Beim Drlicken der <4 MS/REVIEW-Taste

Dis Autnahme-Betriebsartwird
deaktiviert und das
Band zurlickgespult. Beim Loslassen der Taste
kann der gerade aufgenommene
Ton
wiedergegeben werden (schnelle Nachprif-
Funktion).
Touche de filtre MPX
Si on utilise le réducteur de bruit B ou C pendant
lenregistrement a partir d'un tuner FM stéréo,
appuyer sur la touche MPX pour afficher MPX. Les
émissions FM contiennent un signal pilote de
haute fréquence qui, tout en étant hors de la
gamme audible, peut géner le syst8me réducteur
de bruit Dolby.
Toutes ies autres sources de musique doivent 6tre
enragisirées avec la touche MPX
sur la position
THRU. (Quand MPX disparait de Paffichage, la
touche MPX est sur ta position THRU.)
