Cartridge
Format
Before
a cartridge
can
be used,
it
must be Formatted

the
bank

be formatted

(This
will
erase

was
previously
in
that
bank
of
the cartridge.)
Formatting
either
bank lA
or IB
will
format
both.
The
format
type
will

The
black plug
is
not used.
It is
best
to
use a cassette recorder
and
tape
especially
designed for
personal
computer
data
storage.
Also
try to
use
the
same
recorder
for
both saving and
loading.

voice data

to select

format.
(The
DXll
has
some
parameters
that the
DXl
00/2 1/27/27S does
not,
and
these
will
be deleted.)
If
re-loading to a
TX81Z,
select
TX
format,
and
if
re-
loading

a
DXl

VD
format.

RECORD

the tape
recorder and
