At the touch of a button, your NAV 1000 PLU can harness the full
capabilities of the U Government's $10 billion Global Positioning
ystem (GP ). GP is truly the first 24-hour, worldwide, three-
dimensional navigation system. GP is also the world's most precise
positioning system.
The NAV 1000 PLU was designed to be highly versatile. It can be
easily mounted at your nav station, or it can be completely portable.
Through its NMEA 0183 interface the NAV 1000 PLU can be
connected to your autopilot, plotter, sounder, or radar.
The NAV 1000 PLU is the only GP receiver to integrate the
cutting edge technology of gallium arsenide microcircuitry. Gallium
arsenide enables electrons to move five times faster, yet draw only
