A. Installing One PAN-1 Adapter
Step 1. Pop the plastic cover off using a small screwdriver.
Step 2. Using the supplied 4 wire modular cord, connect the Panasonic Doorphone/Door Opener Card to the PAN-1
modular jack.
Step 3. Connect the Viking entry phone to the 2 screw terminals marked E-PHONE.
Step 4. Connect the 13.8 VAC adapter wires to the 2 screw terminals marked 13.8VAC, and then plug the adapter into
a power outlet.
Step 5. Snap the cover back into place.

B. Installing Two PAN-1 Adapters
Since the Panasonic Card provides two modular jacks for the four Doorphones, using two PAN-1's is as simple as plug-
ging a modular cord into each of the card's two jacks (Doorphone 1 and Doorphone 3). See Panasonic's installation
instructions for additional details. For wiring three or four PAN-1's, see Installation section C.
