BATTERY MAINTENANCE
DO NOT attempt to remove the battery unless instructed by customer support for the purposes of battery replacement, or to safely discard the unit.
1: To remove the battery cover, use a phillips head screw driver as shown below.
2: Remove both screws holding the cover in place and lift.
3: Squeeze bottom tab of the black connector and squeeze the two tabs of the battery connector and pull apart to remove.
4: Using ONLY a replacement battery supplied by Black and Decker customer support. Insert the connector firmly until you hear a click.
