Transpose Function
The Transpose function is really handy if you need to play a piece of music in a 'difficult' key (one with
lots of sharps or flats) but just aren't up to it! The idea is that you transpose (change) the pitch of the ep so
that the correct pitches are heard when you play using the fingering of C major!
1.
Find and press the [Transpose] button (over on the left).
The letter "C" will be displayed indicating that no transposition is currently in effect:

* The letter "C" will be displayed for as long as you hold the button down. When you release the button,
the previous display will appear in a tew seconds.
To transpose the ep so you hear the pitches of E, major (for example) when you actu-
ally play the C major scale ...

Press and hold [Transpose] (to display the letter ^C").

Press the note "E," in the middle octave of the keyboard (in the Transposition Range):
