6. BATTERY MAINTAINANCE
Rechargable battery packs become less efficient (memory effect) with repeated charge and discharge cycles. The
capacity of the battery may also reduce over time and you may not achieve the full hours operation. These are there-
fore subject as wear part of a shortened warranty period of 3 months. If you find that the battery appear less efficient
try to boost charge it. To do this leave off for 2 to 3 days sunny days to allow the maximum charge to the battery or
use a suitable external charger. We suggest do this occasionally anyway to help prolong the battery life. If after this
boost charge you battery still does not perform to expectations you should.
Note: Alghough there may be some initrial charge in the battery, we recommend fully charging it before first
use. Turn off the solar pump for 1-2 sunny days to ensure the battery is full charged.
7 BATTERY REPLACEMENT
After used for 12 to18 months, the battery have reached
it's service life, you should replace the battery.
Unscrew the battery cover, replace the battery with a new
one (Replacement batteries available on request available).
Please pay attention to limited Warranty: 3 months.
IMPORTANT!!! Ensure the battery cover is tightened and water
sealed when you re-cover it after replacement.

8. SECURITY TIPS
l Obey absolutely valid regulations on the electrical security
l Never run pump dry
l Pumping inflammable, as well as all other aggressive liquids is prohibited
l Pay attention to the medium max. 40°C
l Any altering of the product itself or changing of the components is forbidden.
l With longer unused times, clean the pump, wash it out with clear water, dry and store it at room
temperature
l Do not connect the pump to any AC voltage power directly, it's ONLY for DC Voltage power.
l Operate the pump in freshwater or saltwater only (never above 50°C), especially keep it away
from flammable liquids.
l All solar panels are very sensitive, protect it before all against external mechanical influences
(shock, vibration, etc.)
