The Playback
order of MP3 audio tracks
The playback
order of albums
and tracks recorded
on a DATA CD is as follows.
• Structure
of disc contents

When you insert a DATA CD and press [2> PLAY, the numbered
tracks are played
seqnentially,
from @ through
(2). Any sub-albums/tracks
contained
within a currently
selected
album
does not take priority
over the next album in the same tree. (Example:
contains

but (_) is played before
@.)
When you press d% RETURN
and the list of MP3 albums
appears
(page 90), the
albums
are arranged
in me following
order: _

--+ 1_ --+ 1i) --+ _.
Albums
that do not contain
tracks (such as album
_)
do not appear in the list.
Tips
• If you add numbers
(01, 02, 03, etc.) to the fl-ont of the track file names,
the tracks
will be
played
in that order.
• A disc with many
trees takes longer
to stalt playback.
Some
discs with many
trees cannot
be
played
back.
Notes
• Depending
on the software
you use to create
the DATA CD
the playback
order may
differ
from the illustration
above.
• The playback
order above
may not be applicable
if there are more
than a total of 1000 albums
and tracks
in the DATA
CD.
• A total
ofup
to 999 files can be recognized
for discs that contain
both
MP3
andJPEG
files.
Files are recognized
in the order
that they were
recorded.
For example,
if 990 JPEG
files are
recorded
then 100 MP3
files are recorded,
the 990 JPEG
files recorded
first and only the first
9 MP3 files can be recognized.
• Depending
on the disc contents,
playback
may take some
time to start.
