SPECIAL SUPERIOR EXTENDED WARRANTY CERTIFICATE OF ORIGINAL PARTS AT TIME OF PURCHASE
IMPORTANT: SPECIAL OFFER AND UNIQUE SUPERIOR WARRANTY VALID ONLY IN THE COUNTRY OF PURCHASE OF THE PRODUCTS
AND ONLY FOR THE ORIGINAL PARTS AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE OF THE PRODUCTS, AS DETAILED IN THIS DOCUMENT.

WARNING: This offer and Special Superior Warranty – hereinafter the Special Warranty – includes the original part – hereinafter the part under
warranty – of the product purchased. Does not include labor costs for the replacement of the guaranteed part, transportation for repair, and product
diagnosis costs. The above, except for the countries of Guatemala, Honduras and the Dominican Republic where the guaranteed part, the labor
costs for the replacement and the eventual transfer of the product for replacement are part of the guarantee. In these cases, the product diagnosis
costs will only be covered if the result indicates a failure in the guaranteed part.
For all countries, additional components or accessories to the guaranteed part are not included in this Special Warranty.
Being for a longer period than the normal warranty (as described in the Warranty Certificate of the product purchased), this Special Warranty applies
solely and strictly to the original part under warranty and therefore does not include or involve any renewal of this Special Warranty with regard to
any part subsequently used to replace the part under warranty, since any such replacement part will have its own normal and regular minimum legal
warranty.
The original invoice or proof of purchase of the product to which the part under warranty corresponds must be produced to claim this Special
Warranty. For Colombia, the invoice will be payable only in cases where local regulations allow it.

1. Manufacturer / Importer / Distributor / Guarantor:
For the purposes of this Warranty Certificate, the following shall be considered as the Guarantor for the warranted part:
In Guatemala: Whirlpool Guatemala, S.A.; in Mexico Whirlpool Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V., in Colombia: Whirlpool Colombia S.A.S.; in Ecuador:
Whirlpool Ecuador S.A.; in El Salvador: Whirlpool El Salvador S.A. de C.V.; in Puerto Rico: Whirlpool Corporation.
In the countries mentioned in the previous paragraph, the Guarantee granted through this Guarantee Certificate is limited only to the original parts
described in this document of products distributed and/or marketed by the entities indicated above in each of the countries.
In Costa Rica, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic, the corresponding distributor will be considered as the Guarantor regarding this Warranty,
and it is not valid without their corresponding signature and/or stamp.
2. Conditions of validity of the Warranty:
Special superior, special term and rights of the Beneficiary/Holder: The Beneficiary/Holder of this Special Warranty is entitled to claim, from the
Guarantor, who in turn agrees to provide the Beneficiary/Holder with a new part, once only, free of charge and with the same features as the original
part, to replace the part under warranty throughout the term of this Special Warranty, provided that the part under warranty needs to be replaced on
account of defects or malfunction thereof or it fails to work properly in the product's normal conditions of use.
The special term of applicability of the Special Warranty granted pursuant to this certificate is 2 years, beginning as of the original date of purchase
by the end customer of the product to which the part under warranty corresponds, and applies solely and strictly to the original part under warranty
(not to any part used to replace the part under warranty). The Guarantor undertakes to provide the replacement part – which will enjoy the normal
and usual minimum legal warranty according to the applicable legislation of the country – within a term of thirty (30) days, beginning as of the date of
receipt of the claim, barring any possible delays in the shipping of parts when the latter come from abroad or due to the lack of supply and/or stocks
thereof for reasons beyond the Guarantor's control or in the event of Act of God or force majeure.
In the course of the first year of the warranty, the provisions of the Warranty Certificate of the product of which the part under warranty is a part will
apply.
The validity and term of applicability of the Special Warranty granted pursuant to this Certificate are subject to the product purchased of which the
part under warranty is a part being used for exclusively household purposes in accordance with the other conditions provided for in this Certificate
and its being used in normal conditions in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions stated in the User Manual of the product
purchased. Moreover, the validity of this Special Warranty is subject to the product to which the part under warranty belongs being installed and used
according to the instructions and recommendations provided for in the User Manual.
This Special Warranty ends when the special effective term expires, when the product to which the part under warranty belongs has been replaced
or when the original part under warranty is replaced by a new one. In this regard, and in the latter eventuality, the new part provided will not remain
within the special effective term of this warranty and nor will it be renewed in the terms and conditions provided for herein. In other words, the usual
and minimum warranty provided for by law will apply. If the product is replaced, the new product will also enjoy the same minimum legal warranty
according to the regulations of each country.
Any claim on this Special Warranty must be made either in person and/or by telephone and/or by email to the Guarantor's Customer Service Center.
