    maintenance Regular cleaning and maintenance is the key to long life and peak performance of any equipment. • The anti-grease filter is used to trap any grease particles suspended in the air, therefore is subject to saturation (the time it takes for the filter to become saturated depends on the way in which the appliance is used).

    maintenance continued FOR UNITS USED IN RECIRCULATION MODE ONLY: This refers to hoods which are not ducted outside but rely instead on carbon filter elements to help purify the air before it is exhausted back into the room. The carbon element filters gradually lose efficiency and cannot be cleaned or regenerated. These must be replaced at least 4 times a year, more frequently if needed based on the amount of use and style of cooking.
