MACHINE CONSTRUCTION 4. MACHINE CONSTRUCTION It is an articulated machine which thus has a very small turning radius. The joint is located midway between the front and rear wheels, thus the rear wheels follow the route of the front wheels. The joint is firmly attached from the side in order to ensure greater stability when loads are being lifted. -
