CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING THE MACHINE Tractor Before connecting, it is important to check that the machine and the vehicle are on a level and stable surface. The connection works as follows, in the following order: ‐ Back the tractor towards the combi spreader. ‐...
ADJUSTING THE MACHINE (ROLLER SPREADER) 8 ADJUSTING THE MACHINE (ROLLER SPREADER) The procedure for the following adjustments may vary depending on the equipment mounted on the machine. Material (Split/gravel) IMPORTANT: It is important that the inner sealing plates are removed in the spreader for coarse material such as split/gravel to protect the machine from unnecessary wear and tear.
ADJUSTING THE MACHINE (ROLLER SPREADER) Adjusting the bracket for the bottom tray IMPORTANT: It is important that the bracket is lowered for coarse material to avoid unnecessary wear and tear on the machine. The rear bracket for the bottom tray under the roller can be adjusted up and down in height depending on the material being spread.
‐ In the case of machines with electrical control [2] of revolutions, this is adjusted with the switch [5] on the CS-200 control box for Timan 3400, see section (12). The electrically controlled volume divider is adjusted to min.
In the case of diffusers with electronic dosing, this is controlled using the mounted electric actuator [2]. This is operated using the switch ‐ [5] for Timan 3330 see section (12) ‐ Or the switch [6] on the CS-200 control box for the Timan 3400 Or the switch [3] for CS-200 control box.
This is especially true for spreaders mounted on vehicles other than Timan. The most optimal height for the machine is 350 mm ± 50 mm from the lower edge of the spreading discs to the ground surface [1].
ADJUSTING THE MACHINE (DISCSPREADER) Adjusting spreading vanes The spreading vanes can be set to five different positions (middle position [3] is shown in the picture). Adjusting these changes the spreading density of the right and left sides. Adjusting the blades on the left disc changes the spreading density of the left half of the spreading pattern and vice versa for the right side.
ADJUSTING THE MACHINE (DISCSPREADER) Setting the application point If the adjustment of the spreading vanes is insufficient, the application point can be changed for both disc spreaders. This is done as follows: Loosen the three nuts for the disc spreader suspension on both the right and left sides. ‐...
ADJUSTING THE MACHINE (DISCSPREADER) Settings table Your own settings can be recorded in the table below. Materials Position for spreading vanes: Position for application point: [1-5] [1-3]...
11.2 Switch between disc spreading and roller spreading ‐ In the case of Timan machines Ensure that switch [4] in section (12) is set to the cylinder function of the combi spreader. When using switch [3] in section (12), the disc unit can be tilted from the active spreading position to passive where the roller distributor works, or vice versa.
IMPORTANT: When the machine is started, foreign objects may fly out. Therefore, the area around the machine should be secured so that neither animals nor humans are in danger. 12.1 Timan 3330 [1] Starting the machine. [2] Power the machine on/off.
OPERATION OF THE MACHINE 12.2 Timan 3400 [1] Starting the machine. [2] Power the machine on/off. [3] Cylinder function for tipping loads and tilting disc spreader. [4] Used to switch the work lights on and off at the rear of the spreader (if equipped).
OPERATION OF THE MACHINE 12.3 CS-200 control box This control box is used when running the CS-200 on a Timan 3400, Timan Tool-Trac or tractors. The machine is started using the vehicle's hydraulic remote outlet. The disc spreader is tilted using the vehicle's hydraulic remote outlet.
ROTATIONAL TEST 13 ROTATIONAL TEST To ensure as accurate spreading as possible, it is recommended you perform a rotational test. ‐ Before first spreading ‐ When changing material ‐ If material changes significantly (humidity, size, etc.) 13.1 Dosing manual It is recommended that you run a test for each position at which you want to run with the dosing lever.
