If you run into any problem using the camcorder, use tbe following table to
troubleshoot the problem. Should the difficulty persist, disconnect the power source
and contact your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony sel",1icefacility.

Cause and/or Corrective Actions
• The battery park is not installed.
• -) Install the batte W pack. (p. 6)
• The battery is dead.

• The AC power adaptor is not connected to a wall outlet.
") Connect the AC power adaptor to a wall outlet. (p. 25)
• While being operated in CAMERA mode, the camcorder
has been in Standby mode for more than 5 minutes.
") Tmn STANDBY down once and then up again. (p. 11)
• The battery is dead.
") Use a charged battery pack. (p. 7)
• The camcorder does not operate when using a battery
pack that is not an "InfbLITHIUM" battel T pack.
--)Use an "InfoLITHIUM" battel y pack. (p. 62)
• The ambient temperature is too low. (p. 61)
• The battery pack has not been charged fully.
• -) Charge the batte W pack again. (p. 7)
• The battery pack is completely dead, and cannot be
recharged.
