Igniting the decorative oil lamp
•Before igniting,wait 5 minutes until the wick has
soaked up the lamp oil.
•Ensure that there is no lamp oil on your hands.
•Use matches to ignite decorative oil lamp.
Extinguishing the candlelight
•Place the candle snuffer over the flame until
this has gone out completely.
•Do not touch the candle snuffer until it has
cooled down entirely.
•Wait until the decorative oil lamp has cooled
down completely before transporting or refilling
it.

Refilling
To refill,depress the safety lock and turn simulta-
neously in an anticlockwise direction so that the
revolvable wick protection interlocks in the later-
al notch of the wick holder.
Unscrew the lock from the thread in an anticlock-
wise direction (illustration).

Taking care of the decorative oil
lamp
It is not necessary to take special care of the dec-
orative oil lamp due to the high-quality stainless
steel material.You can take care of the decorative
oil lamp using a cloth and a recommended stain-
less steel cleaning agent in order to restore the
natural shine of the stainless steel.If required,you
can wipe away any soot at the wick protection
using a cloth.Discolouration of the material in the
area of the flame on account of the high tem-
peratures is due to the natural features of the
stainless steel and does not constitute a quality
defect.When not in use we recommend protec-
tion against atmospheric exposure.
Wick
The decorative oil lamp should only be used with
recommended round fiberglass wicks,approx.6.5
mm in size.In doing so please ensure that the
wick is positioned firmly in the wick holder and
that at the same time the wick ends approx.5
mm above the wick holder (see illustration no.3).
The wick opening must be completely sealed off.
On account of the purely capillary action of the
supplied wick,this does not burn down and does
not need to be replaced.

tically in firm ground before it is lit.
•Check stability at periodic intervals.
•Please only use normal lamp oils.
•Never use petrol,kerosene or other flammable
fluids.
•Keep away from children and animals.
•Only for outside use.Do not use in confined
spaces.
•Do not place in the vicinity of combustible ob-
jects.
•Do not leave unattended.
•Never move the decorative oil lamp when lit or
when it is hot.
•Use the candle snuffer to snuff the candle
flame.
•Please be sure to observe the warning informa-
tion on the packaging of the lamp oil you use.
•Please note:The decorative oil lamp and the
extinguishing cover can become very hot.Please
do not touch or refill until the decorative oil lamp
has cooled down.Please ensure that the decora-
tive oil lamp is only stored away in a cool condi-
tion.
