- Page 2 1. Select the Right Respirator • 3M respirators are intended and designed for adults. To determine if the respirator fits you, follow the fitting instructions included with or specific to the respirator. Always check your fit when you wear it.

Get a new respirator if damaged. • With model 8210, pre-stretch the straps before wearing. • If you wear glasses, read steps 2 through 4, then remove glasses before putting on the respirator.
