If a Compact Disc is already inside the 4040 CD, when it is woken-up from standby it will read the TOC and show the number of tracks and total time of the CD. If there is no disc loaded the 4040 CD will display ‘No Disc’. -

RC- 40 REMOTE CONTROL HANDSET CD COMMANDS Press CD once to prioritise CD Player functions. The handset will remember this instruction until AMP is pressed. Amplifier volume and mute will continue to work in CD mode. Press AMP to switch the remote handset to amplifier commands. POWER Press the top right, blue button, to wake up or send the CD Player to sleep. -

Left and right RCA sockets provide audio output to an amplifier. Connect a good quality RCA to RCA interconnect cable from the output sockets to the Line input of an integrated amplifier or pre-amplifier, like the Creek 4040 A. Adjust the volume level on the amplifier. -
