DRIVE MODE INTEGRATED CONTROL SYSTEM

Normal mode
Normal mode
Normal mode provides regular daily driving performance with some fuel ef-
ficiency.
ECO mode
ECO mode
Eco mode system helps to improve fuel efficiency. When the ECO mode sys-
tem is activated, the vehicle acceleration, gear shift points and air conditioning
perfomance will be reduced to conserve the fuel consumption.
Sport mode
Sport mode
Sport mode focuses on providing sporty but firm riding. In Sport mode, the
fuel efficiency may decrease.

You can select the drive mode
according to your preference or the
road condition.
The system defaults to the NORMAL
mode (except ECO mode) after the
vehicle is restarted.
Each time you press the button, the
drive mode is changed as follows :
ECO
NORMAL
SPORT
Normal mode is not displayed on
the instrument cluster.

LANE KEEPING ASSIST SYSTEM (LKAS)

BLIND SPOT DETECTION SYSTEM (BSD)

The BSD (Blind Spot Detection) system uses
radar sensors to alert the driver while driving.
It monitors the rear area of the vehicle and
provides information to the driver.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert
• To turn the BSD on, press the BSD button
(indicator illuminated).
• To turn the BSD off, press the BSD button
again.
The system will activate if vehicle speed
exceeds 20 mph (30 km/h).

Rear Cross Traffic Alert
When the vehicle is moving in reverse below
about 6.2 mph (10 km/h), the system provides
an alert if a vehicle is approaching from the
sides.
IONIQ ELECTRIC
The Lane Keeping Assist System
detects lane markers on the road,
and assists the driver's steering
to help keep the vehicle between
lanes. The system operates when
the vehicle speed is between
37 mph (60 km/h) and over 112
mph (180 km/h).
• To turn on the LKAS, press
the LKAS switch
• To turn off the LKAS, press
the switch again.
