    Your Phone Icons Icons Description Battery Status : Shows the level of your battery. The more black area you see, the more power you have left. GPRS : Shows the status that data can be received and sent using the packet. Manner : Indicates that all tones are off.

    Your Phone LED Select Your phone has a unique color LED on the folder. It flashes to indicate various phone’s status. The LED blinks in the following colors depending on the status: When you connect the adapter to charge the phone, the LED glows on red while it is charged, and glows on blue once it is fully charged.

    Call Functions Answering a Call When someone calls you, the phone alerts you by ringing, blinking the color LED and displaying the call alert screen. If you are subscribed to the Caller Line Identification service and the caller can be identified, the caller’s phone number or name and image if stored in your Phonebook, displays.

    Call Functions Quickly Switching to Manner Mode You can quickly switch your phone to Manner Mode with a touch of key. In the manner mode, all of the sounds of your phone are deactivated and the phone alerts you to incoming calls by vibrating the phone instead of ringing.

    Call Functions Muting the Microphone You can temporarily switch your phone’s microphone off so that the other person cannot hear you. Example : You wish to say something to another person in the room but do not want the other person to hear you.     Call Functions Using the Ear-microphone Using the ear-microphone supplied with your phone, you can answer an incoming call without holding the phone. Connect the ear-microphone to the jack on the side of the phone. When the phone rings, press and hold the button on the ear- microphone for more than 1 second to answer the call.

    Entering Text Changing the Text Input Language This mode allows you to change text input language. To change to another text input language: Press the key to access the eZi Sub Menu screen. Press the key until you find the Entry mode you want from the list.

    Entering Text Ezi Mode This mode allows you to enter words with only one key press per letter. Each key on a keypad has more than one letter - a single press on the 5 key could be J, K, or L. The eZi mode automatically compares your key presses to an internal linguistic database to determine the correct word.

    Entering Text ABC Mode When typing in the ABC mode, press the key labeled with a character: - Once for the first character - Twice for the second character and so on.     Message The Messages option is a network service and may not be supported by your network. You can send a message by a text messaging system, provided that the service is supported by your network. To send messages by your phone, you must obtain the number of the SMS center from your local service provider.
