TILLER
Install
lower hitch frame to
Tiller using bol't, pivot bushing
and locknut provided,
Fig.

Tighten
locknut securely.
Pivot
bushing will
prevent frame from
binding.
Frame should pivot
freely after assembly.
ATTACHING TILLER TO TRACTOR
1. Start tractor engine as out¬
lined in Tractor Operator's Man¬
ual .
A
CAUTION: Do not move
tractor
if anyone is between tractor
and Tiller or behind Tiller.
Do not lean back to align
hitch points.
2. With tractor and Tiller on
level
area, back tractor to a
position about 1
or 2 feet in
front of Tiller, place in neutral
and shut off engine.
3. Block up front of Tiller un¬
til
lower hitch frame is
about
the same height as
lower hole on
tractor hitch mounting brackets.
4. Back tractor by hand until
lower pin holes are lined up,
install
short "L" pins
and secure
with hairpins,

Never
use middle or upper holes
as
lower hitch frame will
interfere
with drive pulley in transport
position.
5. Place drive belt inside upper
Tiller hitch frame and attach
upper Tiller hitch frame.

Note: If drive belt pulley is
difficult to install,
unscrew
belt tension adjuster.
