CAUTION: Make sure tractor
engine is shut off.
Your MF 1200 Garden Tractor re¬
quires
a Rear PTO Kit,
Implement
Lift Hitch Kit,
in order to attach
the MF 3650 Tiller.
A Tractor
speed Reduction Kit and Lift Help¬
er Spring Kit is
recommended.
Your
MF Dealer can supply and install
these kits.
If these kits
are al¬
ready installed,
remove the "C"
frame and its
lift links.

If tractor is equipped
with Rear PTO Shield,
Fig.
1,
remove this also as
the Tiller
has its own PTO shield permanently
attached to the frame.
Remove four (4) existing bolts
from rear PTO belt cover, but do
not remove cover itself,

Note that lift hitch mounting
brackets
remain on tractor.

Lift Hitch Mounting Brackets
Using four (4) new bolts sup¬
plied with Tiller hardware, attach
the two (2)
upper Tiller mounting
brackets,
as shown in
Fig.
3.
Do not tighten these four (4)
bolts yet and note that there is
a right and left hand bracket.
Install
gear box as shown
in
Fig.
4,
using short "L" pins
and
hairpins.
With tractor on level
surface and rear tires equally
inflated, equalize distance be¬
tween gear box "L" pins
and floor
and then tighten four mounting
bracket bolts,
