To select macro
model
press the selector left

is in macro mode
When macro mode is in
effect

the camera focuses on subjects near the center of the monitor. Use
the zoom buttons to frame pictures.
To exit macro
model
press the selector left
(~).
Macro mode can also be cancelled by turning the
camera off or selecting another shooting mode.

Use of a tripod is recommended to prevent blur caused by camera shake.
