1 Press m & to open the cassette compartment
and insert the tapes with the sides to be played
back or recorded facing you.

2 Press TAPE SELECTOR to select the tape type.

Be sure to use tapes of the same type for dubbing,
since the switch setting is effective on both decks.
3 Press DUBBING SPEED to select the dubbing
speed

4 Press it.

5 Press @ and > together to set the unit in
recording pause mode.
To stop dubbing, press m & on both decks.
Notes
© The tape in deck B is automatically recorded with the
same recording system as the original tape in deck A. So
it is unnecessary to select DOLBY NR.
¢ Do not change the setting of the DUBBING SPEED switch
during tape dubbing.
© If the sound is affected by a television set during high-
speed dubbing, turn off the set or move it away from the
unit.
How to edit the tape
1 During normal-speed dubbing, press 86 on deck B.
2 Locate the desired portion to be dubbed with >
or <<
on deck A. Then press @ &. Or replace the cassette with
anew one.
3 Press > on deck A and release &# on deck B to start
dubbing again.
