The small wedge pin holding the hairspring anchored to
the bracket in the back frame should be loosened and removed.
Figure 1 shows the complete operation of removal by inserting
a tweezer between the front frame and the back frame, using the
tubular pillar as a support for tweezers. Care should be taken as
not to harm either the hairspring or balance wheel.
